Amanda has been teaching group fitness for over 20 years and got her start teaching group fitness her freshman year of college when she signed up for a 12-week training program hosted at the university rec center. That year Amanda earned her group fitness certification through AFAA and has led group fitness classes as a permanent side hustle. She has taught everything from old school Reebok step to reformer Pilates and everything in-between! Amanda is AFAA certified in group fitness as well as holds mat and reformer Pilates certifications though Powerhouse Pilates and is certified in pre-natal and postpartum fitness. Looking to expand her group fit experience, Amanda applied to AKT to become a trainer and is thankful for the opportunity to learn and grow as an instructor through the format. Amanda believes that group fitness is for EVERY BODY and is excited to meet you where you are and help you progress on your fitness journey!
