Marissa
Marissa is a founding instructor at AKT Manhasset. Having started taking dance class at the age of 3, it wasn't until attending Holy Trinity Diocesan High School that dance developed into her passion. Marissa holds her B.A. in Dance Performance from Hofstra University where she worked with artists such as Amy Marshall, Robbie Cook and Doug Varone. Marissa is currently a professional dancer continuing to audition, as well as showcase her choreography at Brooklyn theaters. In addition to teaching at AKT, she has been a fitness professional for 3 years. Marissa is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, certified Pure Barre instructor and Certified Spinning instructor.
