When we launched AKT Brier Creek, we initially provided 4 Signature Classes. Since that time, we have grown and included many more options in the schedule, with plans to keep expanding.
Strength + Cardio + Toning + Circuits
Join Candace, the owner, as she designs comprehensive workout programs that change focus every few weeks, introducing fresh content every 1-3 weeks within each program. This approach facilitates gradual progress in your workouts, enabling you to enhance strength, endurance and technique as you strive towards your goals. Candace's vibrant energy will help keep you motivated throughout your workouts, as she is committed to helping you see and feel the results. All you have to do is stick with it for success!
Strength + Power
This dynamic, station-based strength training class delivers a full-body workout focused on building strength, endurance, and power. STRENGTH incorporates upper body, lower body, and core-focused exercises through timed intervals and rotating stations designed to keep you challenged and engaged. With a combination of resistance training and athletic conditioning, this class helps improve overall performance, muscle tone, and functional strength in an energizing group fitness environment.
Strength + Sculpt + Endurance
PUMP is a full-body strength and conditioning workout designed to build muscular endurance, increase strength, and improve overall fitness. Using a combination of dumbbells, resistance training, and athletic intervals, this class targets the upper body, lower body, and core through controlled, high-repetition movements. Whether your goal is to feel stronger, leaner, or more defined, PUMP delivers an effective and challenging workout in a motivating group environment.
Kickboxing + Cardio + Strength
This comprehensive class promotes the development of lean muscle mass by integrating plyometric full-body power kickboxing exercises with cardio, strength and rhythm-based movements in timed intervals, all while enhancing confidence and instilling a sense of purpose.
Sculpt + Stability + Endurance
Barre is a low-impact, full-body workout that combines elements of strength training, balance, flexibility, and controlled movement to build muscular endurance and improve overall body awareness. Movement + Stamina + Endurance
Cardio Dance combines high-energy cardio intervals with rhythmic movement and music-driven choreography for a fun, full-body workout experience. Designed to improve stamina, coordination, and endurance, this class keeps you moving through easy-to-follow combinations set to motivating playlists. Class styles may vary and can include pop choreography, dance-inspired cardio, and Latin-inspired fitness formats such as Zumba. No dance experience is needed — just come ready to sweat, move, and have fun in an energetic and welcoming environment.
BANDS + DANCE
BBANDS + DANCE combines two signature AKT formats into one high-energy, full-body workout experience. The class begins with BANDS, featuring cardio intervals, resistance training, and strength exercises that challenge both the upper and lower body using our signature bands and box. Midway through class, we transition into DANCE, where you’ll learn AKT Signature Moves and music-driven choreography designed to improve coordination, stamina, and confidence. This dynamic class blends strength, cardio, movement, and music into an energizing workout that leaves you feeling strong, accomplished, and empowered.
Core + Stability + Mobility
Mat Pilates offers a dynamic, low-impact, full-body workout that focuses on strengthening the core while improving flexibility, stability, and endurance. Through precise, controlled movements, you’ll build lean muscle, enhance posture, and improve overall athletic performance. This effective practice develops functional strength, body awareness, and mobility in a supportive and energizing environment.
