GM Jess
Jess was born and raised right here in Bellevue. She started gymnastics in 2007 but quickly found dance was her true calling! She began taking more and more classes and eventually tried out for the competition team. Over the next few years, she traveled to compete and perform. In high school, she switched gears to cheer, and as captain found a love of helping and teaching teammates. She graduated high school in 2019 and attended Santa Clara University where she took a break from dance. Coming home after COVID, she started attending any workout class possible in hopes of finding a new home! In September 2021, she attended ‘INTRO to AKT!’ class with Trainer Sydney. She was nervous, but as soon as class started she knew she’d found the one! Ready to come for her next class she approached Sydney who immediately asked her to talk with Sheryl (studio owner) about becoming a trainer. Over the next few months, she took any opportunity to spend time at the studio. In March, she assumed the role of General Manager at AKT Redmond.
